A yummy little pasta topping, or a snack on its own, these little delicious critters are fast and furious! Be warned, these are spicy little bastards! If you dont want them spicy, simply omit the chili flakes
Spicy pan-fried Shrimp
1 1/2lb shrimp
1/2cup olive oil
1tsp red pepper flakes
4 cloves chopped garlic
1/4cup white wine (if possible)
salt and pepper to taste
Heat oil in a frying pan, adding garlic and cooking until lightly browned. Add shrimp, salt, pepper, chili flakes and wine, and let simmer for a few minutes on each side of the shrimp.
These little things will turn bright pink when they are ready. Serve hot, or room tempreture on pasta, rice or by themselves! Yum!
