Yum Yum Yum Christmas is time for all those guilty pleasures we all love, including a sweet and salty chocolate covered pretzel with a hint of mint, and crunchy candy cane topping
These little treats are delicious, and look adorable in clear plastic bags with red and green ribbon for gifts.
Mint Chocolate covered Pretzels
1.5cups white chocolate chips
3 small drops of mint extract
about 40 mini prezel twists
2 candy canes, crushed up
In a double boiler, melt the chocolate and add the mint extract. Using a tablespoon, scoop up the chocolate and dip half the pretzell into the chocolate, and lay on tinfoil covered baking sheet. Sprinkle with crushed candy cane and put into freezer to cool for a half an hour. After this, you can remove and serve, but the chocolate stays better if kept in the fridge.
