And when I asked dear Boyfriend if it would make sense, he Immediately started drooling, saying that his mom makes something quite the same. So I wrote down a little trial recipe to see if it would work out, and sometime soon we’ll try it out for dinner! Tomorrow perhaps.

This is a Recipe that I’m hoping to try out soon. Basically with two or three Ingriedients Im going to attempt at this trial-and-error recipe. Patience is key here people, Lend a hand and help the research along! My thoughts are these: To make individual hand-held pies, using a store-made pie crust (Pilsbury I assume.), a few spices, and a can of Pie filling. Im going to lay my plans and thoughts out to all you myserious people out there, and then within a few days, I will try this new recipe.

Homemade pies

My Potential Ingredients:

Pilsbury Pie Crust

1can of either cherry, apple, or pumpkin pie filling

1 tsp cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar to pumpkin or apple pie

My potential supplies:

A baking sheet

A heart-shaped cookie cutter

A Fork and Spoon

Potentially a rolling pin, depending on the crust.

My potential Plan:

My Plan is basically to roll out the pie crust, and use the cookie cutter to cut out the hearts OR use a cup with a large mouth to cut circles, and then just fold over half so its a half moon shape. I will then add the pie filling to the middle of the heart or circle, and put another heart ontop OR fold over the circle. Ill then crimp the edges and seal then well, and then bake for alloted time on pie crust tube.

What Im looking for:

Something Pizza Pocket-Esk. A hand-held pie on the go. Im looking for no leaking filling, and a light brown crust. My main worry is the bottom of the pastery being soggy because of the filling.

TO BE CONTINUED…

Keep Checking This Post! An update with the results SOON!
