Shameful as it is, I have put myself on a strict diet of Veggies and Lean meats for a few weeks, and eating one healthy medium sized meal a day. So far its been working and I’ve been trying out recipes that are as veg-friendly as I could possibly come up with, and This is one of them. Keeping in mind this is a recipe I have created for DIET purposes, this is still a great light lunch soup, or a snack if your craving something warm.

Im diggin the warm weather lately (well, warm for a Canadian January), So I pulled out one of my yummiest summer recipes -although, this year I didnt get a chance to make it.. Stupid Basil thiefs! You can use either meat or cheese ravioli, cheese being the vegetarian option. Its very simple to prepare and is derived from my Nanna’s infamous pesto.

Happy 15th day of Christmas Everyone!

FACT: Humans need breakfast before exams.

Todays recipe is a Exam Crunch Breakfast Sandwich. Now, You all know my position on eggs, and with that being said, this sandwich CAN have eggs added to it. I just choose not to :P  If you are going to add eggs, choose to cook it as a whole, instead of scrambled.

Happy tenth, eleventh, twelfth, and thirteenth days of Christmas! Did you miss me!

Unfortunately, due to time constraints on my exams, I will not be able to post 4 separate blogs. However, I have been salivating over an idea I had not long ago. My family is having boeuf bourguignon for our Christmas. A Christmas tradition our family is  to never have a normal Christmas Turkey or Ham. This tradition has led my Nanna to create a slow braised beef stew. However, I started thinking… How can I make this faster.

I came across this site a few days ago, and after perusing the contest, decided that this article should be posted on this site. Quick and East Sides, from www.cookinglight.com As a busy student, I usually eat small portions of my favorite healthy foods 5 or  6 times throughout the day. Although you may not be eating 5-6 times a day, you will enjoy these recipes as side dishes for your regular meals. I encourage my readers to try at least one of these, especially those looking out for their weight, as well as those would would like to include more daily vitamins that could prevent illness, and an increase in energy!

Ill be the first to admit it, Breakfasts are hard. Sleeping in throws off the schedule, early classes and running out the door, or just plain boredom of the average toast and cereal make me very unlikely to eat a healthy breakfast. For me, its an extra challenge, because I don’t like eggs. Yes, thats right. The universal breakfast item is my worst enemy. Therefore, these recipes are SANS-EGG! I’m rebelling! But, to be fair to you oeuf-enthusiasts, I will let you know when you can add them in. I want to share 5 recipes right now with you! Some of the easiest and inexpensive on-the-go breakfast recipes you’ll find!

Hello Dear Readers! Never fear! Im back from my reading break, and I have had a lot of time to find some new recipes to put on here. Tonights special is my take on Rachel Ray’s Florentine Mac and Cheese. However I just don’t have the time to make those giant meatballs she SAYS take 30 minutes. Also, I just don’t have the money. So, This way is less expensive with stuff you probably already have in the cupboard or fridge. Take a Look!

This is the second half of my immense pile of delicious recipes all borrowed (thank you site owners!) from delicious sites. Take a look at these, give them a try. I kept in mind recipes for romantic dinners, dinners for a school night, dinner for the rather picky eater, dinner for the not-so-kitchen savvy etc. because these are the people I aim to cook for. And I love it! However, some of these are recipes that I make on a cold winters day when Im bored out of my skull. Then it turns into a movie night trying out three or four amazing recipes! Or cooking one together, or offering a yummy snack on a Greys or Gossip girl night.
