Avatar is already speculated to take home a number of awards, and for that, we salute you blue people!

So, why not make Baby Burgers with Blue cheese and pear topping! Its elegant enough for the Oscars, and you can always go for the ketchup and mustard if you make extra burgers :)

Your final recipe for this Valentines day special is a Fruit, Meat and Cheese platter for an afternoon snack. This dish is supposed to look “rustic” or messy  in my terms, but I like it that way. Enjoy your canoodleing today my dearies! Give all your BF’s a Giant kiss from CHEF LISS!

Bruschetta reminds me of a hot summer day, when its too hot to turn on the oven, and I only want to eat something cool and fresh-tasting. It also reminds me of Christmas colours, and makes an impressive appetizer for your holiday guests. Its also one of the healthier appetizers out there (although, I could go for a chicken wing any time ha), and is perfect before a heavier meal.

Ok, so the song only goes to 12 days, but we’re doing the 25 recipes of Christmas! So today I thought we would go veggie. Delicious, crispy fried zucchini and eggplant Parmesan. With just a few ingredients, these are a lovely hot appetizer, but slightly messy so serve with forks and knives!

Happy 9th day everyone! Todays holiday recipe is for Roasted Potato Appetizers.  Poor potatoes, they get such a bad reputation for being high cal, high starch and dry. Its unfortunate because one potato has more than potassium than a banana, is 130 calories for a large potato, and high in fiber and iron with no cholesterol, trans fats or sodium. Sounds like a healthy option now doesnt it.

So why not celebrate with Holiday Baking!

Im going to try my hardest for all of you, to find you the easiest things to bake in your student kitchens at home. Cookies that are easy to make, and bake at home, and that stimulate some sort of Christmas cheer. I say Christmas because I am Catholic, but Of course these are Holiday recipes.
